The island of Stromboli stunts for its dazzling and mysterious beauty, through its narrow and smelling streets you feel the gruff and benevolent presence of "Iddu"...

• Pizzo sopra la Fossa.

Finally reopened the new way-up to the peak of Stromboli is even more amazing than before! The starting point is next to the San Vincenzo church, we will follow an ancient way passing through the mediterranean bush and we will reach the first sandy step; suddenly the landscape changes: the vegetation disappears and all around us only ash and stones, this is the point where is possible hear the “voice” of the volcano, another narrow path to conquire the top and… the sunset on a side,  natural “fireworks” on the other …

• The Sciara del Fuoco

Less difficult but not less impressive is the “Sciara del Fouco” hike; the new way-up starts next to the San Vincenzo church, we will follow an ancient path with a fantastic view, crossing the old cemetery and passing through the Mediterranean bush we will reach the fire line of the Sciara; around us only ash, sand and few pioneer plants, this is the point where is possible not only hear the “voice” of the volcano, but also to see stones rolling down from the top straight inside the deep blu sea...

• To the top following ancient paths.

The ancient path approaching the craters keeps its charm! Passing through the districts of Stromboli we reach the Observatory from where the ascension starts; we enter in the typical strombolian cane thicket and the trail brings us to the Sciara, from here the view of the rolling stones takes us along a narrow and steep pathway until the board of the craters: vertical landscapes and volcanic explosions…
